 I started my training at the age of 9 at the Royal Ballet School, London, graduating to the upper school and then joining The Royal Ballet Company at the age of 17(1974)

Danced with the company for 10 years playing most major roles in ballets such asSwan Lake,Sleeping Beauty,Giselle,Manon,Mayerlingand having 2 ballets created for me by MacMillan and Neumeirer in my first year with the company.

 In 1984, I was asked to take the leading role in Cats, the musical, in London and then took 2 years leave to continue in musicals such as Barnum, Rocky Horror show, and many TV commercials and pop videos for Queen, Elton John and many others.

 In 1986, I rejoined the Royal Ballet, Sadler's Wells, where I was promoted to Principal dancer after 3months with the company, rejoining the Royal, Covent Garden , 1 year later continuing dancing there till 1989. I was also twice nominated for Society of West End Theatre Awards for outstanding performance in dance.

 At the same time as starting my musical career I was invited to teach at Pineapple studios on a regular basis and also taught at The Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet School and company under Matz Skoog and Derek Deane.

 In 1992, I worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company for 1 year onClockwork Orangeand in rep which was a wonderful experience.  In1994, I set up a studio in Japan for Classical Students and taught at many major companies in Europe, USA, Japan, and Hong Kong - staying in Japan till 2001.  In 2001, I was appointed Head of Dance and Drama at private prep school in Sussex and again teaching at ENB, RB and private coaching. I am a qualified Pilates teacher working in the UK for 2 years with Dreas Ryneke in Notting Hill as well as guest teacher for English National Ballet and starting my work with Billy Elliot, the show, in 2006, where I am still head ballet coach.

 I worked for 2 years as assistant ballet master at ENB, staging works such asNutcracker,Romeo,Giselle, working with the corps de ballet and teaching and coaching the Principals as well as teaching the company daily. I was also asked to be the head of the adult ballet programme at ENB where I prepared the syllabus for the new programme of classes and continue in this post.  In 2012, I was invited to teach in Thailand where I have staged and produced my own versions ofNutcracker,Giselle,La Sylphideand most recentlySleeping Beautyon March 2014 now being the Artistic Director at Bangkok City Ballet. In the past 2 years in have taught in London, Italy Thailand, New Zealand, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Cambodia and am at present, 2014, in Thailand having work commitments till September next year ending with 2 weeks as a guest of Garry Trinder at NZ ballet school for the third year staging MacMillans "Concert" for the schools annual show.
