English dancer Yasmine Naghdi is a Principal of The Royal Ballet. She trained at The Royal Ballet School and graduated into the Company in 2010, promoted to First Artist in 2012, Soloist in 2014 and First Soloist in 2016 and Principal in 2017.

Naghdi was born in London and started training in gymnastics aged four. She took ballet lessons from age seven and was a Junior Associate with The Royal Ballet School before entering White Lodge. During her time at the School she took part in an exchange programme with the Vaganova Academy, St Petersburg, and won the 2009 Young British Dancer of the Year Competition. Her roles with the Company include Juliet, Sugar Plum Fairy and Rose Fairy (The Nutcracker), Princess Aurora, Princess Florine and Florestan's Sister (The Sleeping Beauty), the Girl (The Invitation), Olga (Onegin), Mathilde Kschessinska and Grand Duchess Marie (Anastasia), Peaseblossom (The Dream), Amour (Don Quixote), First Sylph (La Sylphide), pas de trois, Cygnet and Neapolitan Dance (Swan Lake), Fairy of the Woodland Glade, Alice's Sister (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland), Young Shepherdess (The Winter's Tale), Justine (Frankenstein), finale pas de deux (Infra), pas de trois (Raymonda Act III), Zulme and pas de six (Giselle) and in The Human Seasons, Woolf Works, Symphonic Variations, Don Quixote, La Bayadère, Monotones I, Rhapsody, La Valse, Jewels, Asphodel Meadows, Viscera, DGV: Danse à grande vitesse, Within the Golden Hour, Polyphonia, Aeternum, 'Trespass' (Metamorphosis: Titian 2012), Fool's Paradise.
