Roberta Marquez - Former Principal Dancer Royal Ballet

Brazilian dancer Roberta Marquez has been a Principal ballerina with The Royal Ballet for over a decade and was a guest artist at the Royal Opera House for the 2016/17 season. She has also guested as a Principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, Kirov Ballet and K Ballet in Japan.
She has danced the leading roles in all of the major classical ballets including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote, La Bayadere, Romeo and Juliet, Manon, Firebird, The Dream.
Her partners have included, Steven McRae, Carlos Acosta, Sergei Polunin, Tetsuya Kumakawa, Ethan Stiefel, Johan Kobborg.
Roberta has also been coached by some of the top dancers in the ballet world including Natalia Makarova, Elizabeth Platel, Anthony Dowell and Monica Mason.
